The attorney informed us that both our EAD's were received today.
The point here is the original ead expiry date was 10/15/2008. The new EAD expiry is 07/15/2010 and not 10/14/2010.
Its validity is not 2 years from the original expiry but 2 years from the current approval date.
Are others getting it the same way?

I finally got my AP, 15 days after my EAD (100 days total) . I was happy to open the packet, until this......
THEY SENT ME MY AP WITH SOMEONE ELSE'S PICTURE!!!!!!!
Everything else is Correct (address, DOB, A# etc...)
GURUS, please advise what should I do...... I am so pissed!!!!! Thankfully my EAD has the correct pic.... I had done an E-file....June 7th and my previous AP expires Sept 20

I got past strip bars or junk like that long time back... I am going to do something similar to what you said. I am going to become more responsible citizen and would start enjoying life more..

Yes, USCIS can raise RFE ability to pay even in I-485 stage.

The yates memo made it clear that AC-21 portability employers dont have to prove anything (ability-to-pay, test of market etc). The only expectation from them is that they promise you a job with same/similar duties.
to OP: size of your newemployer should not be a problem,just make sure your job duties are same/similar to what was described in your LC.

i attended for visa stamping on dec 1st at Hyderabad consulate so i got 221g yellow form but he retained passport with him. he told to submit all the documents that are mentioned on the yellow form. did any body got same thing. usually how many days they will take for processing after submiting the documents

I have couple of questions and would like GURUS to reply:
1) Can any one tell me that what triggers the Employment RFE. Like in what instances the USCIS sends the RFE for employment verfication.
2) I am not working for the employer who sponsered me for the green card, but i can always get the letter from him stating that the position for which he sponsered me is still available.
If i get the employment RFE will it be OK to send the letter from the employer who sponsored me or do i have to get the letter from my current employer.
Please shed some light on it. !!!!

People can only give mere advise, but you are the one who is going to take the final decision that is right for you.
The person who can answer some of your questions is nobody, but you.
IMO, the market is not as good as you think, and it�s going through the worst recession ever.
If not at your current job, you may have to take a pay cut at your future job, because that�s the current economic reality.
Since you have asked� I would suggest you to stay where you are and float your resume in the market and see the kind of response you get. I hope you will have a better idea then.

I am on H1 since 2005 and renewed last year and it is valid till april 2010.
Last year i joined directly to the client and they are processing my GC.
When they hired me they gave me list of projects and future plans for more then 5 years but this work is not IT driven and manufacutring in having late back attitude so my fear is if there are not projects in the future i may loose the job then at that point i will have very little time to get my labour approves abd re start the process...
So as back up i want to have a labour approve based on future employment and if possible have 140 processed.
guide me if this is not the correct thing to do...

Hi,
Recently, I applied for H1 extension (change of employer) at Mumbai COnsulate. The Visa officer said all my documents are good but still issued me a yellow form that says that administrative process is required for my case. She gave me back my passport and the yellow form. The application is pending.
I have a valid EAD and AP. Is it possible for me to abandon the H1 process and enter US on EAD and AP.
I am looking for legal expertise here.
