i guess the answer is very simple ,
the japanese respect other peoples possessions and would rather starve in front of a supermarket rather then looting it

I don't see how he's not arrogant. The message from Justin always seems to go something like... "Oh you get viruses, oh, ouch, that sucks, because, um, I don't."
You know, on second thought, you're right, he's modest.
Oh, PLEASE. Don't tell me you think he's arrogant because of his script. He doesn't write the damn thing and if he did, the commercials would be in severe trouble. Did you read the frickin' blog? He sounds like a 14-year-old girl on AIM. "OMG, i so totally ddnt quit the apple commercials, LOL!!!1! tehy payz me real good. *tee hee* well 2day i 8 toaster stroodul (i dont kno how to spell that!) 4 breakfast. it was yummy! i drew a dollar sine w/the frosting! LOLOL! peece out!"
*rolls eyes*
Maybe he really did graduate from "South Harmon Institute of Technology."
Humanity embarrasses me.

An application from iLife '11 has already been released. It's called iTunes 10. It's not 64-bit.
Uhmmm... iTunes is not a part of iLife ;)

they have had crowd sourced apps that do this in the app store. they were useless. and i'm not going to send data to the crowd database while i'm driving with my kids in the car. illegal and dangerous
Yeah, reading the app description is a little frightening about people reporting accidents and whatnot. But it also uses data regarding location and traffic without manual user input. I might try it out, price is right.

Remind me to disbar you from being on the jury at my trial. You cannot possibly hold that this lunatic was justified in his actions.
Not any more than I can hold that her own stupidity led to this as well.
Like I said previously, putting yourself in harm's way should not in any way absolve you from blame for what happens. When you use yourself as a human shield, you're going to get hurt - why should it be the other guy's fault?

It's great to hear so many young people are going to macworld, I'll be going next year for sure. Every one have a good time.
Oh, BTW, if products are announced as "ships today" then only flagship stores will have the products available immediately in-store right?

I'm not sure how many people would want a smaller macbook. Some people I've shown my MB to say they don't care for the small screen, which always seemed like plenty to me. apple may be working on a small ultraportable, but for now the only real change we'll see for a while is C2D. Also, the smaller you go, the less room there is for an optical drive.
I could see Apple making a 10.6" widescreen MacBook nano (or would that be MacBook mini?), with top resolution of something like 1120 x 700. But yeah, it would still be at least 1" thick (same thickness as MBPs), because it would still have to accomodate an optical drive. If Apple came out with something like that with more or less the same specs as the MacBook, I'd buy it. I think there's a significant and growing market for ultraportables, especially as wireless broadband becomes even more ubiquitous and people use their laptops outside of their homes a larger percentage of the time....

Can i just mention something??
I'm a musician and am very well acquainted with notation software such as sibelius 4 and Finale. What on earth would be the point in having a piano keyboard interface?? The range can't really be more than an octave, which is rather useless when writing... And even then, just to use it as an imput method would be so much slower then just typing the names of notes. Now one can press the letter 'a' and an A (the note) will be displayed. When using such software, it's not the note imput that takes the time, it's the changing of note values, and adding instructions and markings to the score. for this, the piano keyboard would be useless. What, so every time you want to write a new italian tempo marking, you have to switch to a keyboard?? sucks.
Oh, and some people may say that it could midi record and notate what you play... but this rarely works well and even then you're stuck with the range of probs just over an octave.
Thoughts welcome.

Just weight an MBA 13, and figure out why it weighs more and costs more.
And if you shrunk the bezel while still using a standard sized display (same cost), the keyboard would stick out the sides, which would look pretty whacky.
I was pretty clear that I wanted a bezel shrink to accommodate a larger screen not to have a smaller laptop.

I am just curious as to how the roadmap for future iteration of iPhone will go.
If iPhone 5 is late-September early-October, does it mean iPhone 6 will be the same time in 2012, or skip to Summer 2013?
I think if the iPhone 5 isn't announced in June, Apple will likely announce one in time for the holidays. I think that Apple wants to take advantage of the holiday season to market the new iPhones rather than the summer. Though either way, people will be lining up in droves to get one.

Thanks for clarifying everything Justin. Your post comes across as a genuine guy who likes people. Glad to hear you are still doing Apple Mac ads!

I’m pretty sure the end-to-end processing of your movements will take a bit of time making the 30 vs. 60 lag negligible. And 60 Hz is used because it that’s where most people would not notice excessive blur with their own eyes...which are faster than the human body. In the extreme case where you can throw a punch and retract it so fast that it can’t be captured in 30 fps…you’d be better off replacing Bruce Lee in the archives rather than playing games. :D

I continue to be amazed by the number of students at my community college that have iPhones. These are students who for the most part are struggling to make ends meet, yet were willing to spend their limited cash that way. There are at least two or three students with iPhones in each of my classes; two years ago, I didn't see any -- and mine was a curiosity to them.
well depends how things are paid for you might be less impressed.
I am a struggling college student but out side of school expenses my only other cost is gas for my car.
That means insurance and phone bill is covered by my parents that frees up a fair amount of resources to get smart phones and from others I talk to in school that is often times a big help parents give is covering cost other than school.
As for smart phones I know at were I go to school the phone that is common on campus depends which college you are in. If it is the computer science and Engineering then iPhone is in the minority. Android rules the roost followed by Blackberry. The iPhone in a class of 30 you will see 2 some times 3. By enlarge it is Android followed by blackberry. iPhone is in the small minority. WP7 I will see out numbering the iPhone soon.
Now if you go to the other building on that has education and business (along with art) rules change and iPhone becomes much more popular.
Now back to us SCE students area a lot of us own iPods and I know the iPads out number the iPhones but for a phone we just do not like iOS end of story. Android is were a lot of the students want to go for.

Very cool, but I love the contrast of the screen with the blam bezel.
The White iPad 2 is pure butter. Id love to see the iP5 have a similar design (back to the Aluminum backing)

Independent studies have found Wikipedia to be about as accurate as Encyclopedia Britannica, with Wikipedia having longer articles that Britannica.
Yes, and the length of an article is a good indication of the accuracy of that article, isn't it?
Let's get a grip here; apple is not going to make ipods that burst in to flames!
No, they make laptops that do that.

I'm just hoping for a fix to a reauthentication bug that has been dealing me fits with the iPad 2 and the last update. I travel a lot and joining hotel wifi and maintaining a connection has been a pain in the you know what the last few weeks.
